Recommended Eat: Fogal Meat Market, Plaza Damas

This place was recommended by Clifford one day when I was visiting his office nearby. I told him that I enjoy trying out different restaurants for pork dishes (ribs especially). He said that I should check out this restaurant that is just next to his office in Plaza Damas, so last Friday, I managed to get Harrie & Sharm to join me for dinner since they stay nearby.

To locate this place, you have to make your way to the entrance of the Hartamas Shopping Complex where Starbucks is. On either side of the entrance is escalator/stairs that you can take to go up a level. Once you're up, heads left, and you should see the Fogal Meat Market in front of you. The shop was initially setup to sell imported beef, but has expanded to include a cafe/deli.

Harrie ordered a Pork Rib, Sharm had the Roast Pork while I had the Breaded Pork Fillet. Mine was done just nice, easy to chew and get the taste. I had a bit of the Pork Rib, and it was juicy and tender. Nicely done. The Roast Pork tasted good too, like the Chinese-style siew yoke. With 3 mains, drinks and a sauteed mushroom for starters, the bill came to only RM80+, which I feel was quite worth it. The service from the staff was good and you can even get a nice view of KLCC and KL tower if you take a seat at the back of the shop.

I'd definitely return to sample more of their dishes. Perhaps try on some beef. I'm getting hungry as I'm typing this, and it's not good considering it's half past midnight already.

P/S: Sorry no pics to make you drool.
